Earlier this year ModelMole attended bio:cap 2026 in Berlin - paid for by pfizer (thanks!).

This came directly after we pitched in Basel to private investors, a short train to Frankfurt to visit my friend then onwards to Berlin.

Day 1 we had the first co-founder getting very sick and not being able to attend (or watch me pitch ModelMole to the room).

Day 2 we had a very eye opening conversation with pfizer’s european leadership and members of their scientific team. And then our second co-founder got sick.

Day 3 I was still feeling ok so I took the opportunity to GTFO first thing in the morning leaving all my ‘disposables’ (anything left in the bathroom of our shared house etc) behind.

Fortunately one of our Angel Investors was filming in the audience and I’m able to share the rapid pitch:

I’m making this blog post 3 months after the fact and we are still working on engagements formed with other complementary start ups we met at bio:cap so overall, for a “free” (we paid travel, accommodation etc but not tickets) a very worthwhile event!
